Swiss Based FIFA-Agent Bash Nigeria Clubs Owners

Tuesday, 27th April 2010 at 12:10pm

It is very unfortunate that Nigeria Football clubs and FIFA Agents could prefer to transfer top professional Nigerian players to poor rated Sudan clubs.

From all indications that is slavery to the players because the Nigerian Club owners and home based Licensed agents have selfish interests. It is far much better to develop our players as in promoting transfers to top African clubs like South Africa and North African leagues and not to have in mind SUDAN for Christ sake!

Nigeria has gone beyond the level to allow a professional premier league player to move down to Sudan in the name of "MONEY". Sudan league is nothing to be compared with around the whole wide world.

No European top club will ever engaged with an Agent who would promote a player in the Sudanese league.

As a matter of fact, no matter how you look at it, the players from Nigeria premier league suppose to star in competitive leagues in Europe but GOES to Sudan because the Nigerian club owners have to receive transfer fees nevertheless should NOT for any reason be called to the National Team of Nigeria.

All things been equal, I suppose NFF Chairman Chief Sani Lulu and Sec General Chief Ojo Oba should never allow the National team coach Lars Lagerbeck to invite any player to the National camp from Sudan league.

How could you invite a player to the National camp from Sudanese league?

I don't want to hear "He is a good player and he plays for Al Hilal or Al Merrikh?

This is a very low league to start with! European clubs prefer a player coming direct from Nigeria Premier league than going from front view to back yard! Instead of club owners and government to improve the Nigerian league and make more interesting but it is turning to the worst. It is very big shame to me personally as a Nigeria FIFA Registered Licensed Player's Agent.

Let me put it this way and make it clear how it looks like! NO Italian player in Slovakia or Hungary league will ever be remembered not to talk of coming near the National team (Azzuris). Even if the players score 30goals in a season, will NEVER call up to National team. The simple truth is every league has standard. Every league has great contribution to a player's performance and the level of his professionalism in his career. So as Nigeria top home based premier league players goes to Sudan that is showing how serious and interesting the Nigerian league looks like. All is about SELFISH interest!

We have come, I mean Nigeria has come of the stage where European clubs should have great confidence to identify Nigeria league with all remarks and this makes the market very interesting for us who are Agents based in Europe. Nigerian premier league suppose to be our main target and market for European clubs which in return is in the best advantage of our National Team.

Peradventure, Samson Siasia, Daniel Amokachi did not play in East African low rated leagues and they were great players with great experience and exposure which is important now they are working as coaches. Football is not paper work but based on two factors: Experience and Exposure!Chelsea,Inter Milan, FC Zurich, Bayern Munich, Lyon to mention few will NEVER ask even trials for a player coming from Sudanese league! Period... So tell me what is the future of the player in his profession?

Some Nigerian Club owners always frustrate players who desire to play overseas because they want the player to move in the direction where they (Club Chairman) will have big transfer fees in their pocket, shared among the top level club management and never wonder the future and prospect of the player who supposes to be a distinguished professional in the sport. Club owners (Club Chairman) decide where the player goes or not. They are doing the work a Licensed Agent. The club owners go against the will of the player and violate the agreements made between players and Licensed Agents. Club owners have no right to say, a player in his team must be transferred to Sudanese club for example if he has offer from Norway through an Agent instead if otherwise they will refuse him International Transfer Certificate to be released by NFF. Clubs can place a transfer fee on a player but MUST not enforce which club the player should go!

By the way Sudanese Clubs buying players from Nigeria shows they have more money invested in football than Nigeria and on the other way showing how they are serious to develop football and the negative part is that Nigerian players profile is nothing to but zero! How many people are in the stadium watching the league? What kind of environment does the players live and what kind of exposure and experience does the player acquire? The BIG question is why Nigeria Club owners (Club Chairman) don't buy top players from all other Africa top clubs and help develop the Nigerian premier league. Ok they pay peanuts to take some players from African clubs but they sell the best home based Nigerian players to low rated leagues Ethiopia, Sudan why? Why Nigeria Club owners don't pay good transfer to buy super players from Egypt, South Africa, Cameroon, Libya, Algeria but Nigeria can go all over African countries to trade football.

They want big transfer fees while they pay the players peanuts! Nigeria Professional players have no good standard of living because NFA has not come to the real rescue on this situation. The first format to develop Nigerian league like other counterparts is for clubs to have a law set by NFF concerning basic salary for Nigeria professional premier league players.

This system is what makes MOST European leagues interesting. There MUST be a minimum salary professional players should be paid monthly so they would be disciplined in performance and all other aspect. Football is big business all over the world but Nigeria should not be left out in the system which does not help our football and players development. Charity begins at home.

Sir,

The problem with Nigerian club owners is selfishness. Money making is not for fools. Wealth is for men of knowledge and that is what these men lack. I am a Nigerian and ready to do business, well respected business and not selling players for peanuts but also concern about their future. Note you must do unto others what you want to be done to you.

Finally, I will love to be in contact with personally. I love football, I have a youth team and will love to trade players abroad. I look forward to your reply.

Thanks for your concern about Nigerian players.
