Brazil 2014 Squad Watch: Neymar scores Copa treble
Rising Brazil star Neymar scored three times as Santos beat fellow Brazilians Internacional in the Copa Libertadores in the group stage.
The 20-year-old stole the show as Santos ran out winners by three goals to one.
The supremely talented Brazilian gave his side the lead after 19minutes when he converted a penalty.
Neymar then went close to doubling his tally when he struck the post with a left-foot shot.
His second goal on 54 minutes gave Santos some breathing space and it was a goal worth savouring.
Picking the ball up from inside his own half, Neymar set off towards the Internacional goal. He proceeded to glide past three hapless defenders on his way before lifting his shot over the onrushing goalkeeper and into the net.
The visitors pulled a goal back 10 minutes when Neymar's international team-mate Leandro Damiao made it 2-1.
But Neymar was not to be denied, restoring Santos' two-goal cushion with a goal similar to his second just one minute later.
