Copa America: Holders Brazil Drawn In Group B

Current Copa America champions Brazil will face Paraguay, Ecuador and Venezuela in Group B of the 2011 Copa America which takes place in Argentina next summer following the draw made on Friday, November 12.
Hosts Argentina have been drawn against Bolivia, Colombia and special guests Japan in Group A, while World Cup semi finalists Uruguay face the toughest group with fixtures against Chile, Mexico and Peru in Group C.
Brazil, now coached by Mano Menezes, have won the past two Copa America's, their most recent success coming in 2007 in Venezuela.
The top two teams in each group will qualify for the quarter finals and will be joined by the two best third placed teams.
Japan are competing in their second Copa America after being invited to the 1999 tournament in Paraguay, while hosts Argentina will be looking to pick up their first piece of senior silverware since 1993, the last time they hosted the tournament.
Argentina and Uruguay are the most successful sides in the Copa America, lifting the title 14 times each.
