Barcelona star Andres Iniesta could be a doubt for Spain's first World Cup match against Switzerland after the Spanish national team doctor revealed that the talented playmaker had suffered a thigh injury.
Iniesta started Spain's final warm up match against Poland but was withdrawn after 39 minutes as 'a precaution' after complaining of a twinge in his leg.
"As he wasn't comfortable, we made the change - it's a minor muscle injury," said Dr Oscar Celada.
Before being substituted, Iniesta had helped create Spain's first two goals, helping them on their way to a comfortable 6-0 win.
In positive news for the reigning European champions, Cesc Fabregas and Fernando Torres continued their returns from injury, making substitute appearances in the second half.
Both were on target as Spain romped to victory with the other goals coming from David Villa, David Silva, Xabi Alonso and Pedro
